M.S.D. of Wayne Township Awarded Grant to Boost College Enrollment

Mar. 25, 2024

M.S.D. of Wayne Township is among six school corporations that received planning grants focused on increasing college enrollment among our students! These grants are part of College Matters, an initiative of the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation.

Superintendent Dr. Jeff Butts said of the grant, “We are extremely appreciative and excited to be awarded the planning grant to support the development of our plan to increase college-going rates in the M.S.D. of Wayne Township and Marion County.”

The $20,000 planning grant will support our staff in the development of a four-year plan to help more of our students enroll in college. Also, as part of the grant, we will receive assistance from national research firm Mathematica as we select the best strategies for M.S.D. Wayne to increase college enrollment.

M.S.D. of Wayne Township is dedicated to empowering students and their families with the necessary resources and support to successfully explore, enroll in, and finance college.
