Two MSD Wayne Students Receive Full Tuition Scholarships to Marian University

One student from Ben Davis High School and another from Ben Davis University High School have received full scholarship offers from Marian University.

Anaiah Wright (Ben Davis High School) and Naomi Adenuga (Ben Davis University High School) are recipients of the St. Mary Academic Scholarship from Marian. The scholarship provides full tuition for four years.

At a brunch celebrating their prestigious achievement, scholars received a framed certificate, listened to a presentation from a past recipient of the award and heard from Marian University President Daniel J. Elsener. Students also interacted with faculty and staff in their academic areas of interest.

Students are invited by Marian University to apply for the highly-competitive Saint Mary Academic Scholarship based on their cumulative grade point average of 3.90 or higher. Students must provide a resume and essay as part of their application process. Only 10 students were selected to receive the scholarships.

“We are pleased to welcome these outstanding students into the next class of Marian University Knights and look forward to watching them continue to develop into transformative leaders in service to their fellow students, university and the world,” President Elsener said.
