MSD Wayne Teacher of the Year “Top 10” Finalist for State Award

Linda Gomes, who retired as a music teacher from Stout Field Elementary at the end of last school year, is now a “Top 10” finalist for the Indiana Teacher of the Year Award. “Top 10” finalists will be interviewed on September 12.

The IDOE will hold a banquet to recognize the professional accomplishments of all candidates and to honor the 2020 Indiana Teacher of the Year on Friday, November 15.

Mrs. Gomes was named MSD Wayne’s Teacher of the Year in May. Congratulations and best of luck in the state competition, Mrs. Gomes!
