Legacy Fund Created in Honor of Former Area 31 Career Center Director

The Wayne Township Education Foundation has announced the creation of the endowed Ron Hoke Legacy Fund. The $10,000 fund will support career and technical student organizations and programs within the Area 31 Career Center.

Hoke was the first director for Area 31 and worked in education for 47 years. He retired seven years ago. Since then, the Area 31 staff has been raising money to create an endowed fund in Hoke’s name.

“It feels great to honor a legend in Indiana career and technical education,” said Lisa Baize, executive director of the Wayne Township Education Foundation. “And it’s wonderful to create a legacy to support students long into the future.”
