MSD Wayne Shares COVID-19 Protocols for 2021-22 School Year

The MSD of Wayne Township has worked with the Marion County Public Health Department and the Indiana Department of Health on guidance for protocols for the return to school on July 28 for the 2021 – 2022 school year. The attached documents were reviewed, modified, and approved by the Board of Education during the December 13, 2021 Board Meeting.

English Version Revised–February 1, 2022

Spanish Version Revised–February 1, 2022

Several protocols, including serving of food, cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, as well as other protocols remain unchanged.  However, protocols for masks, visitors, and other areas have changed.  Do not hesitate to contact your child’s school with any questions.

Also, the Indiana Department of Education recently approved Achieve Virtual, our online public school, for K-12th grade education during the 2021- 2022 school year.  Education will be synchronous and blended for K – 8 and asynchronous for 9-12.  More information can be found by clicking here for K-6 grades, here for 7 & 8 grades, and here for 9 – 12th grade.
