State of Indiana Provides 10,000 Face Masks for MSD Wayne

Thanks to CARES act funding administered by Governor Holcomb’s office, MSD Wayne received 10,000 face masks on July 8 for the upcoming school year. MSD Wayne staff will be wearing masks when we reopen our buildings for the 2020-21 school year. Students in grades 4-12 will be wearing them as well, and our younger students will be required to wear them at certain times, such as when they’re on the bus.

“We’re grateful to the State of Indiana for providing these masks to us at no cost,” said MSD Wayne Superintendent Jeff Butts. “The COVID-19 pandemic is creating unprecedented additional costs for us as we do everything possible to keep our students safe and healthy.”
