Indianapolis Mayoral Candidates Debate at Chapel Hill 7th & 8th Grade Center

The three candidates for mayor of Indianapolis took part in their last organized debate on Monday, October 28 at Chapel Hill 7th & 8th Grade Center.

Democratic Mayor Joe Hogsett, Republican candidate state Senator Jim Merritt, and Libertarian candidate Doug McNaughton faced questions from Fox 59 Anchor Dan Spehler in a debate that was televised live for 30 minutes.

The debate’s topics included public safety, roads and transportation, and economic development. The debate can be viewed in its entirety on the Fox 59 website, fox59.com.

The West Side Chamber of Commerce sponsored the event. It was the last debate between the mayoral candidates before the election on Tuesday, November 5.
