Rolls-Royce Employees Show Up in Force for Day of Volunteer Work in Wayne

From painting bulletin boards to landscaping, dozens of volunteers from Rolls-Royce made a difference in Wayne on September 11.

The employees, taking part in the company’s Community Care Week, performed a variety of services throughout the district. They painted bulletin boards and did landscaping work at Garden City Elementary. They did landscaping and STEM projects at McClelland Elementary. Sanders School and Stout Field Elementary got some landscaping help as well.

“That’s just part of what these volunteers accomplished for us in one day,” said MSD Wayne Superintendent Jeff Butts. “Rolls-Royce is one of our Giant Partners, and we’re grateful for the support they show us throughout the school year.”
