Summeropolis Brings Stout Field Students, Staff and Community Together

Summeropolis has been a tradition at Stout Field Elementary for more than ten years. The school’s staff volunteer to plan, coordinate and facilitate all of the activities.

Because Stout Field is having a new cooling tower installed this summer, Summerpolis was modified a bit for 2018. Students and families still had the opportunity to win prizes at the event, held June 4 and 7. They also received books and math games, and were able to participate in a healthy activity at the park to earn additional prizes. The school-wide cookout provided hot dogs and drinks to all the students as well.

We are grateful to all those at Stout Field and in our community who help make Summeropolis possible. It’s a fun time to enjoy summer learning and to connect outside the school year!
