Ben Davis University High School Recognized by Indiana Department of Education

The Indiana Department of Education has honored Ben Davis University High School for its students’ success in attaining college credits while still in high school.

During a November 6 ceremony at the Indiana Statehouse, IDOE cited BDU as one of only six high schools in the state to have 75 to 100 percent of its students attain at least one college credit. A total of 130 schools were honored for having at least 30 percent of their students attaining college credit.

Speakers at the ceremony included Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Jennifer McCormick, Ivy Tech Community College President Sue Ellspermann, and Vincennes University President Charles Johnson.
